03 / Questions
Frequently Asked Questions

Yes. It is enough to describe the situation, the purpose of the request and the documents available. On that basis, the appropriate format of work is determined.

A consultation answers a specific legal question: which rules apply, what rights and obligations arise, which risks need to be considered and what action is possible.

A legal solution is needed when a way of achieving a goal has to be found. The options are analysed and compared, a suitable structure is proposed and the conditions for its implementation are determined.

A legal solution sets out how the goal is to be achieved and why that option was chosen.

A roadmap describes how it is to be implemented: what needs to be done and in what order, which documents need to be prepared, which approvals obtained, and how the timing of the individual stages fits together.

Yes. The starting point may be decisions already taken and existing opinions and documents. During preparation, the conditions for implementation and the circumstances affecting the sequence of steps are clarified.

If it turns out that the chosen solution needs further work, the scope of that work is agreed with the client.

Yes. A consultation on the substance of a question is a service in its own right and does not oblige the client to commission documents or ongoing support afterwards.

The answer is given orally or in writing. If a detailed analysis with reasoned conclusions is needed, the preparation of a legal opinion is agreed.

Yes. The document is analysed in the light of its purpose, the circumstances and the question raised. The legal consequences of each provision are assessed and its compliance with the applicable requirements is checked.

The results of the review are set out in writing, with comments and proposed changes.

Yes. A single document, for example a contract, an agreement, a submission or a reply to a request from a state authority, can be commissioned without comprehensive support.

Before work begins, the information required and whether related documents need to be checked are determined.

Yes. The circumstances, the documents and the other party's position are analysed. The possible claims or objections, the evidence and the risks to be considered in choosing the next steps are identified.

The conclusions are used to decide on negotiations, bringing claims or court proceedings.

Yes. The drafting or review of a statement of claim, a response, objections, a motion or an appeal can be commissioned. The work requires materials that make it possible to assess the circumstances of the dispute and the procedural position.

Representation and the comprehensive conduct of a case fall under the “Court Representation” service or the services of the relevant practice.

Yes. If the documents prepared require registration, notification or another submission to a state authority, the necessary documents are prepared and the procedure is supported until a decision is issued.

No, unless otherwise agreed. Developing a solution and a roadmap establishes the legal basis and the sequence of further steps. Preparing documents, negotiations, registration procedures, conducting a dispute and other implementation steps are separate work.

The scope, timing and fees for further support are agreed before it begins.

An hourly rate, a fixed fee or a combined model is used; in some cases part of the fee depends on the outcome achieved. The fee is determined by the time actually spent, the complexity of the matter and the overall timeframe of the project, and is agreed before work begins.
